இலங்கை தொடர்பில் கருத்து வெளியிட தயாராகும் பான் கீ மூன்
ஊடகவியலாளர் ஒருவர் எழுப்பிய கேள்விக்கு பதிலளிக்கும் முகமாக ஐநா பொதுச் செயலாளர் பான் கீ மூனின் ஊடகப் பேச்சாளர் இவ்வாறு குறிப்பிட்டார்.
இலங்கையில் இடம்பெற்ற மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் தொடர்பில் ஐநா எவ்விதமான நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுத்துள்ளதாக ஊடகவியலாளர் ஒருவர் கேள்வி எழுப்பினார்.
இலங்கை மனித உரிமை மீறல்கள் குறித்து எழுந்துள்ள குற்றச்சாட்டுக்கள் தொடர்பில் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை விசேட கவனத்தை செலுத்தியுள்ளதாக பான் கீ மூனின் பேச்சாளர் தெரிவித்தார்.
இவ்விடயம் தொடர்பில் ஜெனீவாவில் இடம்பெறும் ஐநா மனித உரிமைகள் கூட்டத் தொடரில் விரிவாக ஆராயப்படும் என அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
இதேவேளை கற்றுக் கொண்ட பாடங்கள் மற்றும் நல்லிணக்க ஆணைக்குழுவின் பரிந்துரைகள் தொடர்பில் ஐநா பொதுச் செயலாளர் விசேட அறிவிப்பொன்றை வழங்குவார் என பான் கீ மூனின் பேச்சாளர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார்.

 Responding to question raised by the journalist on actions taken by the UN on human rights violations in SriLanka, the spokesman of the UN General Secretary went on to say the United Nation General Secretary Ban Kimoon to make special announcement on SriLanka. |
