சர்வதேச விசாரணைகளை தடுப்பதற்காக சகல அரசியல் கட்சிகளையும் இணைத்து கமிட்டி ஒன்றை அமைக்க வேண்டும்.
சகல அரசியல் கட்சிகளும், சகல இன மக்களும் உள்ளடங்கக் கூடிய வகையில் இந்தக் கமிட்டி அமைக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
கற்றுக்கொண்ட பாடங்கள் மற்றும் நல்லிணக்க ஆணைக்குழுவின் பரிந்துரைகளில் சகல தரப்பினரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளக் கூடியவற்றை அமுல்படுத்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
கற்றுக்கொண்ட பாடங்கள் மற்றும் நல்லிணக்க ஆணைக்குழுவின் பரிந்துரைகளை அமுல்படுத்துவது குறித்து அரசாங்கத்துடன் உடன்படிக்கைக் கைச்சாத்திடத் தயார்.
அரசாஙகத்தை பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ள நாட்டை பலிகொடுக்க முடியாது.
நல்லிணக்க ஆணைக்குழுவின் பரிந்துரைகளை அமுல்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் நாட்டுக்கு சாதகம் ஏற்படுமே தவிர, பாதக நிலைமை ஏற்படாது.
தென் கிழக்காசியாவில் வடக்கு தமிழர்கள் போன்று துன்பியல் அனுபவங்களை எதிர்நோக்கியவர்கள் எவரும் கிடையாது என ரணில் விக்ரமசிங்க தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

| Ranil wants MoU with Govt |

 The main Opposition, United National Party (UNP), yesterday expressed willingness to enter into a pact with the government, to fight the US-sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka in Geneva. |
UNP Leader, Ranil Wickremesinghe, said he is willing to go to Mattala, on the day of the opening of the second international airport in the country, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government.
He added the Party will support the government in implementing the recommendations of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) and the 13th Amendment to the constitution, while helping the government to resolve the national issue.
"If this resolution is passed, Sri Lanka would become a pariah State. We feel the Opposition must help the government at this stage, to fight against the resolution in Geneva. In order to do so, the government must declare the elections for the Northern Province and implement recommendations made by the LLRC immediately," he said.
The draft resolution titled 'Promoting Reconciliation and Accountability in Sri Lanka' is still open for amendments, before it is discussed at the Council and debated on.
The resolution notes the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights' call for an independent and credible international investigation into alleged violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law in Sri Lanka.

அமெரிக்கப் பிரேரணைக்கு இலங்கை இன்று பதில் வழங்கும்

ஜெனீவாவில் உள்ள அமைச்சர் மகிந்த சமரசிங்கவினால் இது தொடர்பில் இன்று உத்தியோகபூர்மாக அறிவிக்கப்படும் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
இந்த பிரேரணை தொடர்பில் ஆராய்வதற்காக அரசாங்கம் குழு ஒன்றை நியமித்திருந்தது.
இந்த குழுவின் ஆலோசனை அடிப்படையில் அரசாங்கத்தின் பதில் அமையவுள்ளது

ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் மனித உரிமைகள் மாநாட்டில் கலந்துக் கொண்டுள்ள ஆசிரிய நாடுகளின் பிரதிநிதிகளை சந்தித்த இலங்கையின் பிரதிநிதியான அமைச்சர் மகிந்தசமரசிங்க, மனித உரிமைமகள் விடயத்தில் இதுவரையில் இலங்கை மேற்கொண்ட செயற்பாடுகள் குறித்து விளக்கமளித்தார்.
இந்த சந்திப்பினை ஜோர்தான் நாடு ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது.
அதேநேரம் மற்றுமொரு அறையில் அமெரிக்கா, மாநாட்டில் கலந்துக் கொண்டுள்ள நாடுகளின் பிரதிநிதிகளுடன் சந்திப்பு ஒன்றை நடத்தியதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது
இதன் போது தமது யோசனைக்கான அவசியம் மற்றும் இலங்கையின் தற்போதைய நிலவரம் உள்ளிட்ட விடயங்கள் குறித்து அமெரிக்கா விளக்கமளித்துள்ளது.

 Sri Lanka and the United States held separate informal meetings at the UN Human Rights Council premises yesterday (Wednesday) on the US sponsored resolution on Sri Lanka. | |||||
Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe was to brief the Asian Group last afternoon on the progress made in Sri Lanka by the government on addressing post war issues.
The Permanent Mission of Jordan was hosting the meeting on behalf of the Asian Group attending the 22nd session of the Human Rights Council.
Meanwhile in a separate room, the US delegation led by Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain, held a meeting with representatives from other countries where she spoke on the resolution submitted on Sri Lanka.
Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe is to present the formal response to the US resolution at the UNHRC tomorrow (Friday).

Lankan government will announce its official stance on US resolution submitted against the Country in Geneva, sources said.
