Woman accused of buying TTC tokens with forged credit cards

An Ajax woman is charged with fraud after forged credit cards were used to buy rolls of TTC tokens, investigators said Friday.
Toronto police said a woman would buy tokens from various TTC collector booths across the city, and pay for them using fake cards encoded with stolen information. She also bought pre-paid gift cards with the forged credit cards, police alleged.
Investigators from the financial crimes unit searched a home in Ajax and found 42 forged credit cards, along with equipment capable of encoding them.
Niruba Jegatheeswaran, 25, faces a litany of charges related to fraud and using stolen credit card information.

டொராண்டோ இடைத்தங்கல் ஆணையத்தில் டோக்கன்களைப் ( TTC tokens) பெற்றுக்கொள்வதற்காக, போலி கடன் அட்டைகளை குறித்த பெண் பயன்படுத்தி வந்தமை கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
குறித்த பெண்ணின் வீட்டிலிருந்து 42 போலி கடன் அட்டைகள் பொலிஸாரினால் மீட்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
TTC நிலையங்களில் டோக்கன்களைப் கொள்வனவு செய்து, அவற்றுக்கான பணத்தை போலி அட்டைகள் மூலம் செலுத்தியுள்ளார். மற்றையவர்களின் வங்கித் தகவல்களை திருடி, அவற்றின் மூலம் போலி கடன் அட்டை தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இவ்வாறான செயற்பாட்டிற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்ட இயந்திரங்களையும் டொரண்டோ பொலிஸார் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளனர்.
